How My Crypto Trading Engine Works

Intro

My crypto trading engine is designed to do one thing:

Scan the market and highlight high-probability setups.

It collects live data, applies technical logic, filters out noise, and sends clear alerts for manual execution.

Think of it as:

a structured assistant—not a black box.

Step 1: Market Data

The engine starts by pulling live data from the market.

This includes:

  • Price data (BTC, ETH, alt pairs)
  • Volume
  • Multiple timeframes (minutes → hours)

It also tracks:

  • Bitcoin dominance
  • Overall market behaviour

This gives context—not just isolated signals.

Step 2: Pattern Recognition

Once data is collected, the engine looks for alignment across key signals.

It uses:

Momentum

  • RSI → identifies overbought / oversold conditions

Trend

  • Moving averages → direction (bullish / bearish)

Volume

  • Spikes → confirmation of strong moves

Price Imbalance

  • Fair value gaps → potential reaction zones

Confluence Score

All signals are combined into a single idea:

How many things are lining up?

The more alignment:

  • the higher the score
  • the stronger the setup

Step 3: Filtering

Most signals are noise.

So the engine filters aggressively.

It checks:

  • Trend alignment
→ avoids trading against the market
  • Liquidity
    → removes low-volume pairs
  • Market conditions
→ avoids weak alt setups when BTC dominates
  • Confirmation
→ waits for price to react, not just signal
  • Frequency control
→ limits number of trades per day

Step 4: Trade Structure

For valid setups, the engine defines:

  • Entry → current price
  • Stop-loss → based on volatility
  • Take-profit → structured risk/reward

Nothing random.

Everything is:

pre-defined and repeatable

Step 5: Alerts

When everything aligns:

  • An alert is sent
  • Clear format
  • No clutter

Includes:

  • Pair
  • Direction
  • Score
  • Reasoning
  • Entry / SL / TP

You decide whether to execute.

Why This Works

The edge isn’t just the signals.

It’s the process:

  • Multiple confirmations
  • Strict filtering
  • Defined risk
  • No emotional decisions

What It’s Not

It’s not:

  • a “magic system”
  • fully automated trading
  • guaranteed profit

It’s a tool that helps you:

make better, more structured decisions

Final Thought

Markets are noisy.

This engine filters that noise into:

clear, actionable setups

It doesn’t replace the trader.

It supports the process.

Flow Summary

Data → Analysis → Filtering → Trade Plan → Alert
